About Women in Conservation: Belize is renowned globally for its conservation efforts. It is home to leading coral restoration scientists and national policy leaders, with women spearheading the protection and restoration of the country's ecosystems. These women lead local teams for some of the world's largest organizations and establish their own startups in Belize. This positions Belize as the ideal home for the International Women in Conservation Summit.

IWIC takes place annually each Fall and was established in 2023. The program includes a mash up of traditional panel discussion sessions, keynote speakers, and skills building and technical training workshops.

In 2025, the summit will also offer optional field excursions to explore the rich beauty of Belize ~ ocean, jungle, culture and conservation.
